| This is a scene from "Shibaraku", a famous Kabuki Play. What fun this was to make! This character is a sort of superhero in Japanese theatre. He goes around and rights wrongs. As you can see, everything about him is exagerated to make him as powerful looking as possible. This piece toured extensively with Kyoko Nakanishi's exhibit "Kabuki" throughout Japan. | |||||||
